In todays posts, I am going to discuss applovin.com and specifically, how to integrate its SDK into your Xcode game project.
This is for those of you who want to do the geeky stuff yourself and not outsource it. Over the coming weeks and months I will be releasing lots of these videos showing you how to complete common things like this that can be very overwhelming if you do not know how to program.
What is Applovin? This is the ad network for both IOS and Android games that finds your target audience, delivers relevant ads, and yields measurable results (have to love being able to track).
Think of it as a competitor to Chartboost and RevMob (two popular services for reskinners to integrate into their games).
The process of adding a framework to a game, like other “geek stuff” it can get a little confusing if you are trying to do this yourself in Xcode. I created a video that shows you step by step how to add AppLovin support.
This includes adding the library itself, as well as all the other steps to get the ads showing in your game. Sometimes a picture (or video) is worth a thousand words, and in this case I think a video makes it a lot easier to understand.
Hope you get a lot out of the video, and if you have any questions about any aspect of it, please let me know.
Cheers
Tim
